ZYaroszLumina has done an Excellent job. Their process was smooth. Our project manager Allison Sanders navigated us through all the steps handedly. I always felt well informed, communication was thorough and timely. Ali was professional yet easy to talk with on all the particulars. The install teams were also communicative and we are very pleased with the results. 10/10 no notesReview of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by ZYarosz
Jason QuattroI had researched solar for a couple of years before finally deciding to pull the trigger. I talked to quite a few installers and got a ton of different options on panels, wattages, inverters, pricing, financing and warranties. What I really like about lumina is they do everything in house and nothing is subcontracted out. The entire process with them from start to finish was smooth and professional. They have excellent prices, use top rated panels (I chose the REC 405 watt panels) and the best warranty (30 years). I got 25 year financing and pay much less than my electric bill was. Lumina was very organized and professional every step of the way. The install was very clean and I liked how they ran the wiring through the attic and down the house tucked against the gutter so you can barely see it. Peter Hayes was fantastic and even came out to my house on the day the install was completed to check up on everything. I installed a “sense” system (one of the best purchases I have made) so I can monitor real-time consumption and production. During my first month I sent over 1100 kWh back to Peco (after factoring in consumption) and that’s with charging an electric car. The system also performed great over the rest of the year and the winter. I have banked enough kWh during the spring/summer to draw from during the lower solar production months. Now that a year has passed I am happy to report that I have produced a good bit more than I consumed so Peco will send me a check for the excess energy! If you are on the fence about solar reach out to Lumina… you will be glad you did!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by Jason Quattro
Patrick MillerI’ve had a fantastic experience with Lumina Solar. The team from top to bottom is incredibly professional, insightful and goes the extra mile. Christopher in particular provided such valuable explanations and kept me well informed throughout the whole process! Thank you allReview of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by Patrick Miller
Alicia ShellerI will admit I was very skeptical about going solar because I had been receiving cold calls about it for months and none of these companies that called seemed professional or knowledgeable (in fact, they were calling me and often they were the ones to hang up on me). When I met with Courtney from Lumina Solar I was astounded by the amount of incorrect information that I had been hearing and she showed me the data to back up what they were saying. Courtney built a cohesive plan for my home and walked me through it from start to finish. The presentation was easy and comfortable and she answered all of my questions and made sure I understood everything. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable, but she created a plan that was best for ME, letting me know she has my best interests at hand. I am 100% certain my home is in the best possible hands and I am so excited to be going solar. I highly recommend Lumina Solar (and Courtney) if you are looking to go solar, you won't be disappointed!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by Alicia Sheller
Arnaldo BertolaLumina Solar provided us with fast, detailed, immediately understandable information about installing a solar panel plant on our roof and in our home. A huge thank you to Sufi, our sales representative, who went out of his way to understand our needs, navigated the design and estimating software in real time and with great skill, and helped us grasp the implications of fairly dry technical details without breaking stride. Great technology - prob the best on the market today - and a total install solution to match. Great company, highly recommended.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by Arnaldo Bertola
Rose PalazzariThe whole job went well. From the sales end to the instillation. Matt Dier did a wonderful job following and tracking everything I would highly recommend Lumina. Very pleasedReview of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by Rose Palazzari
John DI'm probably one of the pickier customers a contractor can have and I look for excellence in service and product every step of the way. Even though the pre-planning for the job was executed well and was organized issues arose during the completion of the work. This is when I look for exceptional response because problems occur with anything we do it's how the problems are addressed that makes all the difference to me. Lumina Solar has a staff who are dedicated to ensuring the job is installed correctly and professionally. Even though there were bumps in the road the tradesman did not stop until every little detail was handled. Many companies would just say "Good enough will do" but not Lumina they persisted until the job was completed exactly to the specification quoted. Kudos to Lumina for being a customer centric company!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by John D

  • Mains electricity: Mains electricity acts as the primary electrical power supplied to residences and companies through a system of power lines, offering a consistent source of energy for numerous appliances. It typically operates at a voltage of around 120V or 230V, based on the country, and is delivered through alternating current (AC).
  • Balance of system: Balance of system (BOS) pertains to all elements of a solar power system except the photovoltaic panels, such as inverters, racking, wiring, and other electrical hardware. It is essential for ensuring the optimum and reliable operation of a solar energy installation.
  • Solar energy: The sun's power is harnessed from the sun's rays using photovoltaic panels to convert electricity or through solar heating systems to produce heat. It represents a green, renewable, and planet-friendly source of power that decreases dependence on fossil fuels.
  • Applications of photovoltaics: Photovoltaics are commonly employed in domestic, business, and factory environments to generate green, sustainable electricity from sunlight. They also power remote and off-grid locations, providing green energy solutions where standard power grids are unavailable.
  • List of solar-powered products: A list of solar energy products features a variety of tools that capture sunlight to generate energy, supporting eco-friendly and eco-conscious living. These solutions include everything from solar power banks and lights to household devices and outdoor equipment, offering flexible alternatives for energy needs.
  • Photovoltaic power station: A solar energy facility is a installation that converts sunlight immediately into electricity using solar modules. It is a green energy source that aids in decreasing reliance on non-renewable energy and reduces greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Solar hybrid power systems: Solar hybrid power systems combine solar panels with alternative energy sources, such as wind or diesel generators, to ensure a reliable and efficient power supply. They enhance energy use by managing renewable resources and backup options, cutting reliance on fossil fuels and lowering overall emissions.
  • Concentrated photovoltaics: CPV utilize optical lenses and mirrors focusing sunlight onto highly efficient solar cells, considerably increasing energy capture using less space. This approach works well in areas with intense, direct sunlight and provides a promising approach to reducing the cost of.
